Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective 23 September 2026 · Version 1
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to subscriptions and other paid services purchased for WorkTap, a product operated by Dastek Softwares Private Limited ("Dastek", "we", "us", or "our").
By purchasing WorkTap, you agree to this policy.
1. Free Trial
WorkTap provides a 14-day free trial.
The free trial:
- Does not require a payment card;
- Provides access to the available WorkTap features during the trial;
- Does not automatically create a paid subscription merely because the trial expires; and
- Allows the customer to evaluate WorkTap before making a payment.
The customer is responsible for reviewing its account and subscription before making a purchase.
2. Paid Plans
WorkTap may offer paid plans including:
Monthly Employee Plan
₹49 per active employee per month, plus applicable GST.
Employees joining during a billing period may be charged based on the applicable pro-rata/day-based calculation shown by WorkTap.
Three-Year Plan
₹14,999 for three years, plus applicable taxes where applicable.
The applicable price displayed on WorkTap at the time of purchase will govern the transaction.
Dastek may change pricing for future purchases or renewal periods by providing appropriate notice.
3. Setup Fee
Where applicable, WorkTap may charge a one-time setup fee.
The current website price is ₹999 plus applicable GST.
The setup fee covers configuration and onboarding activities such as branch configuration, geofences, leave types and holiday/calendar setup.
Once setup and onboarding work has commenced, the setup fee is generally non-refundable.
4. No General Refunds
Payments made for WorkTap subscriptions are generally non-refundable.
This includes payments made for:
- Monthly subscriptions;
- Multi-year subscriptions;
- Setup/onboarding;
- Partially used subscription periods;
- Unused employee capacity;
- Failure to use the service;
- Change of business requirements;
- Employee departures after payment;
- Failure to configure or use available features; or
- Cancellation after a payment has been successfully processed.
Customers should evaluate WorkTap during the free trial before purchasing a paid plan.
5. Duplicate Payments
If the same customer accidentally makes a duplicate payment for the same subscription period, the duplicate payment may be refunded in full after verification.
The customer should contact WorkTap support and provide:
- Organization name;
- Payment date;
- Transaction/reference number;
- Amount paid; and
- Evidence of the duplicate payment, if available.
Once verified, Dastek will initiate the applicable refund.
6. Failed or Reversed Transactions
If a payment is unsuccessful but the amount has been debited from the customer's bank account, the customer should first allow the payment processor or banking system to complete its normal reconciliation process.
If the amount is not automatically reversed within the applicable banking/payment-provider timeframe, the customer may contact WorkTap support with the transaction details.
7. Cancellation
Customers may request cancellation of their WorkTap subscription.
Cancellation generally:
- Stops future subscription billing;
- Does not automatically result in a refund of an already-paid period;
- Does not cancel amounts already due; and
- Does not remove the customer's obligation to pay for services already provided.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, paid access continues until the end of the applicable paid subscription period.
8. Subscription Expiry and Grace Period
WorkTap may provide a grace period following subscription expiry or delayed renewal.
The WorkTap website currently provides a 30-day grace period for employees.
Dastek may restrict or suspend functionality after the applicable grace period if the subscription has not been renewed.
9. Data After Cancellation
Following cancellation or expiry, customer data may continue to be retained in accordance with the WorkTap Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Customers may request an export of their data where the applicable WorkTap functionality supports such export.
Customers should request any required data export before requesting permanent deletion.
10. Service Errors
If a customer experiences a material service issue, the customer should contact WorkTap support as soon as reasonably possible.
Dastek may, at its discretion and depending on the circumstances, provide:
- Technical remediation;
- Service extension;
- Service credit; or
- Another commercially reasonable remedy.
Such remedies are discretionary unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing.
11. Taxes
All prices displayed on WorkTap are exclusive of applicable GST and other taxes unless expressly stated otherwise.
Applicable taxes will be added to the transaction as required by law.
GST invoices may be provided for eligible transactions.
12. Refund Processing
Where Dastek approves a refund, the refund will normally be processed using the original payment method where technically and legally possible.
The time required for the amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment processor, bank or payment method.
Dastek is not responsible for delays caused solely by banks or third-party payment providers.
13. Changes to this Policy
Dastek may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
The latest version published on the WorkTap website will apply to purchases made after the effective date of the updated policy, subject to applicable law.
